This app is a user-friendly mobile platform designed to simplify the ticket booking experience for a variety of events hosted across numerous venues.
The objective is to design a user-friendly mobile app that seamlessly facilitates ticket booking for diverse events. The app aims to streamline the booking process and enhance user experience through intuitive UX/UI design and robust functionality. Serving as a centralized platform, users can effortlessly explore, select, and purchase tickets for concerts. Tailored to meet the needs of both casual attendees and avid event-goers, our app provides a convenient and efficient way to discover, plan, and attend events of interest.

For the purpose of user research on the ticket booking mobile app, a mixed-methods approach was employed, combining surveys and in-depth interviews.
Surveys were distributed to 15 participants, including both frequent and occasional event-goers, utilizing online survey platforms to gather quantitative data on demographic information, current booking habits, user experience with existing apps, desired features, device preferences, and general feedback.
Preference for Mobile Apps
80% of users prefer using mobile apps over websites for booking tickets due to their convenience and accessibility.
Current frustations
60% of users find existing checkout processes too complicated.

Desired Features
50% of users expressed interest in receiving personalized event recommendations based on their preferences.
In-depth interviews were conducted with 5 users selected from the survey respondents, using structured questions to gain qualitative insights into their experiences with current apps and their pain points.

Research and user feedback were crucial in guiding design decisions, ensuring the app effectively met user needs. The iterative design process, including prototyping and usability testing, was essential for refining the app and enhancing usability with each iteration. A focus on minimalistic design and intuitive navigation made the app both accessible and user-friendly. Additionally, a cohesive style guide contributed to the app’s professionalism and visual appeal, ensuring a consistent and polished user experience.
